Downing Street

After a mammoth 25 days, 30 locations, and 3000 miles, the Small Business Saturday bus pulled into Downing Street for the final stop on its cross-country tour, and we were there to greet it. As part of a reception for the UK’s best small businesses, we recorded coverage of Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond, Secretary of State for Health & Social Care Matt Hancock, and Minister for Small Business Kelly Tolhurst.

City Hall

Showing his continued commitment to Small Business Saturday and having vowed “to be London’s most pro-business mayor”, we photographed the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan with the director of Small Business Saturday, Michelle Ovens MBE.

House of Lords

The Small Biz 100 - a list of the best small businesses in the UK - were chosen to attend the House of Lords to shine a spotlight on the work they do. We photographed speeches from The Rt. Hon. Lord Young of Graffham, as well as the Secretary of State for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark MP.

Grassroots

Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to 'shop local' and support small businesses in their communities. The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.
